Wellingtonians are getting accepted at top universities

2021-05-14

With many universities yet to make their admissions decisions, our pupils in the International School Shanghai have already received impressive responses from their chosen universities. Already, 1 in 5 of our applicants have received offers/acceptances from universities ranked within the global top 10 (QS World Rankings 2021). These offers have included institutions based in a range of destinations around the world – the University of Chicago in the USA, UCL in the UK, the University of Toronto in Canada and Hong Kong University

Our pupils have also been successful in gaining offers and interviews in a variety of different subjects from the most traditionally competitive academic courses, such as medicine, law and architecture, to the more creative subjects such as music, art and design.

We are immensely proud of the achievements of all our pupils so far and we wish them well for the rest of the year as more universities make their decisions.

Look out for news of many more outstanding offers for our pupils in the near future!
